YESTERDAY, IT LEAKED OUT OF THE WHITE HOUSE THAT PRESIDENT OBAMA WILL PROPOSE A SPENDING FREEZE ON ANYTHING THAT ISN’T DEFENSE SPENDING. THE “SPENDING FREEZE” IDEA IS AN IDEA JOHN MCCAIN PROPOSED DURING HIS CAMPAIGN AGAINST OBAMA, ONE IN WHICH HE LOST BADLY! THE PEOPLE WHO VOTED FOR PRESIDENT OBAMA VOTED FOR AN ANTI-WAR, POPULOUS, PASSIONATE, FOR UNIVERSAL HEALTHCARE CANIDATE…….THEY VOTED FOR PROGRESSIVE OR CHANGE…………..WE DID NOT GET WHAT WE VOTED FOR!!!!
ALL THE BLINDED OBAMA SUPPORTERS WHO SUPPORT HIM BASED ON HIS RACE ALONE WILL NOT LIKE WHAT I’M SAYING BUT THEY ARE CLEARLY BLINDED. THEY HAVE FALLEN INTO THE SAME PROPAGATION THAT THE BUSH SUPPORTERS FOLLOWED AS HE RAN THIS COUNTRY INTO THE GROUND. PRESIDENT OBAMA GOT TONS OF MONEY FFROM CORPORATIONS DURING THE CAMPAIGN!!!! TONS!!!!!! MAYBE THAT IS WHY HE HAS TIM GEITNER……A GOLDMAN SACHS PROTÉGÉ….AS HIS TREASURER…..GEITNER COMES FROM THE SAME STABLE THAT CREATED THE ECONOMIC CRISIS!!!!
I WAS NAÏVE FOR BELIEVING THAT CHANGE COULD COME FROM A MAN…..LOL….IT CAN’T!!!! IT HAS TO COME FROM THE PEOPLE!!!!!!!! Well said Mike. I feel the same way. His term so far as been just like George Bush’s. U kinda get the feeling that a democrat is in office, because Obama has done some good things, but for the most part the change that he promised during his campaign is not the change we have been seeing. Obama because he’s 1/2 black and 1/2 white feels the need to play it down the middle. He feels he needs to please both the liberals and conservatives. Instead of just riding with the Democrats, and passing whatever legislature he needs to pass. He really believes in bi-partisanship. If I was in office, I would not care what them Republicans thought about whatever policy I was trying to enact. I would just do me, but he’s not going to totally ignore the Republicans because he wants to get elected for a 2nd term. It’s all politics. He’s playing a game. Obama is getting distraught because he knows America does not want an African-American liberal in The White House.
Hell of an observation…It sorta brings to mind the book “All the King’s Men”. One man really can’t change the system because the system is so corrupted that to be in a position of power you have to flex your morals and make deals with a plethora of devil’s. By the time you finish paying the veritable pipers you are left with nothing but a faint memory of the power you once had and a feeling that you have accomplished nothing OR you yourself have become an advocate of the flawless system of corruption and you continue your uprising which, in reality, is a downward spiral because you have lost your way and are no longer the hero that you set out to be….I believe Obama really wants to change things but America has proved time and time again that its not the king who makes the calls, its the men behind the throne.
